Second Blog URL Confusion.

  Hi, I currently own a blog – https://scionofsociety.home.blog/ . The thing is, that I used to own a blog called http://scionofsociety.wordpress.com/ but I deleted that one. Now, I cannot use the ( .wordpress.com ) URL as that page says ‘ The authors have deleted the site ‘. I’M THE AUTHOR !!

  So, basically, the question is, I deleted a website ( basically empty ), and was wondering how could help I reclaim its URL. If I can change – https://scionofsociety.home.blog/ ‘s name to a (.wordpress.com) domain name, that’d be great. It’s also empty but I have organized it so if I can just edit it only that’d be awesome.

  Change https://scionofsociety.home.blog/ to http://scionofsociety.wordpress.com/.

  Hi @tanmayj143, when you delete a site, we have 30 days to restore its address for you before it becomes permanently deactivated. Sadly, this address was deleted three months ago so there’s not much we can do at this point.

  But we would be happy to pass feedback along if you have it. When you deleted the address, what was your intent? Did you remember seeing notices that the address would be gone permanently?
