Secondary drop-down menus

    Hello,

Apologies if this isn’t the right place for help, so please redirect me if need be.
I’m developing my organisation’s website and have the primary navigation menu working without a problem, I’m looking to add secondary drop down menus on multiple pages.

We have a dozen schools and colleges as part of our set-up, and each one of those will need their own unique drop-down menu somewhere on their respective pages.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to add a completely new drop-down to these specific pages but I’m getting a little confused. Currently using Flatsome theme but have gotten bogged down with widgets, menus and menu locations. Any help greatly appreciated – the ideal structure of our schools and college pages would be:

    – Primary navigation (about, contact, jobs etc) –
    – Header image –
-Secondary nav (unique to each location, about, term dates, curriculum etc)
    – Rest of the page content –

    Hope that makes sense!

    Many thanks,

  • Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with elsewhere.

To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Thanks for your reply – my mistake! I’ll see if anyone can help over at .org
