WHen I sign in and answer the simple math question to prove I am a person it constantly comes up with: You failed to correctly answer the math problem. This is used to combat spam when the Protect API is unavailable. Please use your browser’s back button to return to the login form, press the ‘refresh’ button to generate a new math problem, and try to log in again.

If I shut down WordPress and then sign back it it works, this is annoying, I have had it on a tab in Chrome for ever never had this problem to lately?

  • Hi there,

WordPress.com accounts do not have any sign-in verification like you’re describing, so I assume you’re not speaking of your jenkan1959 WordPress.com username account or the site, http://jenkan1959.wordpress.com/

You can find details on Jetpack’s security features, including the Simple Math fallback feature for the Protect module, here:

    Jetpack

For more help with this, please contact Jetpack support directly at https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support

We can only help with sites hosted on WordPress.com in this forum.
