    The link to ‘new post’ inserted in automatic email notification trigger this security alert when clicked: ‘Suspicious link
    This link leads to a site that is not trusted. Are you sure you want to go to [address of my WP site]?’
    What is wrong? I’m using Chrome (on Chrome) and gmail with all current updates.

    Hi there,

    Are you speaking of new post notifications sent by WordPress.com? For which site?

    This is likely Gmail’s security scanning being overzealous – I occasionally come across the same warning, and for links to our support helpdesk system, which I know for a fact are not in any way suspicious or risky.

    If you see an option in the warning for more information, try clicking that and see if you can find a way to report it to Gmail as a false positive. That’s really the only thing one can do about these.
