Security – Transferring domain

    Hello, I recently tried to transfer this domain to a different hosting/template site, however upon attempting to publish the site it appears the security certificate is still linked with word press and is now being flagged as a security risk. I am not sure how to access this domain to transfer it as it is not listed in my domains list. TIA

    I can see multiple name servers in place for rosemount.ac.uk – can you confirm where the site is being hosted please? This may not be WordPress.com.

    Hi, I tried to transfer the domain to Wix, however when publishing the website, an error page comes up saying “Something unexpected happened while accessing this website. It looks like it doesn’t have an active domain connection upgrade to link the requested domain name to the WordPress.com site.”.

    I am also wondering whether this is different to other domains as it is a .ac.uk address? Thanks

    Hello there,

    Ok, so is the domain now with Wix and the site is being hosted with Wix?

    If yes, you would need to change the name servers of the domain to point to the Wix address.
