seeing deleted page

  i deleted my http://aphsbackup.wordpress.com site like 15 minutes ago, then confirmed via email. but it’s still available. when it’ll be deleted permanently?

  Website deletion after email confirmation is almost instantaneous. The website you refer to is still active 12 hours after your above post here. My guess is that you’ve deleted a different website. Did you have another with a similar address?

  Please clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache

  IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blogs and/or blog content does not remove any indexed content from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months.   I’m sure i deleted right page, even i tried to click delete confirmation link in mail again and it said this page does not exist. But you see page is still available. Cleared my cache, tried from different browsers, different computers, nope. I tried every solution in help page, that you can be sure of. But it’s still there. And i mean the actual site, not google results. I think i was middle of my importing from tumblr when i deleted my site, maybe it revealed an unknown bug. I just want my content gone.

  Deletion of a page and deletion of a website are not necessarily the same thing. What is the URL of the deleted page in your confirmation email message, or the URL of the confirmation link?

  I wouldn’t recommend deleting such an attractive website, as you can always keep it inactive as a backup and test website, but if you are adamant on doing so then I suggest going through the deletion process again. The confirmation link might have expired, or been faulty for some reason.

  By page i mean website. Anyway, i think my guess is right it’s beacuse of a bug because i wrote directly wordpress contact and they deleted the site. Thanks for your help.
