Sela theme front page widget images

  I am trying to set up my blog using the Sela theme but on my static front page the three images in the widgets don’t appear as the same size as they do in the theme demo. I have tried to resize them but this doesn’t seem to solve the problem. Any suggestions?

  Hi,

  The front page widget area images on your site appear to me to be the same size as those in the Sela demo. Perhaps the white in the top parts of your images make them appear smaller. On Firefox I used Page Info > Media to check the dimensions of the images. On both sites they were scaled to the exact same height and width dimensions.

  What I mean is that each image is not the same size as the other. I want the three widget images to appear to be identical in size but despite re-uploading three different pictures which I resized to the same height, when I go to the page they are all different heights and don’t align with each other.

  There is at least one significant difference between the featured images in front page widgets on the Sela demo and the corresponding images on your site.

  On the Sela demo, the file size dimensions of each of the featured images used in the front page widgets are exactly the same. However, it might be sufficient that each has the same width and height ratio, because they are scaled to the same width (321 px on my PC). If they begin with the same width to height ratio, then when scaled they will retain the same ratio.

  Yours, on the other hand, are of three different sizes, each with a different width to height ratio. When scaled they all have the same width, but different heights.

  Your present three images neither have the same file size height, nor the same scaled height. They have the same scaled width.

  Correction:

  My mistake. Your three image do have the same file size height. However, evidently unless they begin with the same width to height ratio, they won’t end with the same ratio after scaling.
