  Hello, I need help. I followed all your instruction as regarded to static page. But, it doesn’t look like a introductory photo, but as article. Just take a look https://vedomyzivot.wordpress.com/ I don’t know what to do. Thank you for help. (Used theme: SELA)

  I see a couple issues here.

  1. Your static front page doesn’t have the page content overlay in the middle. Therefore you aren’t using the proper page template. You should assign the page to Front Page Template in the Page Attributes module.

  2. When you assign the page to the Front Page Template, the overlay will partially obscure the text portion of the featured image.
