Self hosted website not showing up in reader

I don’t think my self-hosted website is showing up in the WordPress reader. I have followed some instructions to add the Jetpack plugin, however new posts don’t show up and I also tried to search for my own site within the reader and can’t find it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! The site is treetoptraveljournalism.com

Are you following your site in the Reader? You won’t see it there unless you do. It also will only get indexed for search purposes once someone is following it, so if no one is following it yet, it won’t be indexed yet either.
To follow it, go to https://wordpress.com/following/manage and paste the URL in the top search box. Then click the follow button.
