Selling online

    Hello world,
A few months ago I self-published some books. I have a box of each left and want to sell them online, though I’m not expecting big sales and my margins are small (it’s a hobby not my income), so buying big web site plans and plugins seems foolish.
Yes, self-publishing is foolish to start with.
It seems I can buy a $4 monthly ‘blogger’ business plan for WordPress, and then add WooCommerce plugin for free. I’m not actually expecting to earn $4 a month from the two books (I’m realistic not pessimistic) however this looks the cheapest way to sell online… unless I make links to a ebay site.
Any advice out their in the world?
    Thank you very much.

Hi there, just to clarify on plugins, the Business plan is the only plan that gives you the ability to install WooCommerce. https://en.support.wordpress.com/business-plan/

Another option for selling, even with a free hosted website like bucketofwork.wordpress.com is to add a PayPal payment button to your site. Here’s how you can do that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/

    Hope that helps.
