Semi-transparent text box in Header
-
Hi there,
I am trying to create a semi-transparent white text box to go over an image in the Header section of my husband’s blog. I want the text to display in black, with the image visible through the white text box. I would rather have a box for the text than adjust the opacity of the whole image. (It will also need to include the menu items, as I can’t seem to move them below the banner image)
I have found some suggestions online for the code I can use, but I can only find a way to change the Additional CSS, and I can’t work out how to change the coding within the header itself. I am not a skilled coder, and I have previously just worked with websites that had an obvious WYSIWYG tool.
I think if I can find a way to edit the Header html code, I can add a
or similar code.Could someone help me with this?
I’d be very grateful for any suggestions. Many thanks

Actually I am not sure if he is on WordPress.org or WordPress.com
This is the site link: http://corylovesbeer.com/
I’m not sure if you can tell which WordPress this is hosted on?

It’s hosted by Justhost and it’s using the WordPress.org software. You need to post in the forums I mentioned in my previous message.
