sending an url to people open up the website?

  I’ve developed a website with the specific purpose of making information available to a targeted audience but when I did a test send of an url, my recipients had to create a wordpress account. This is clunky for my target audience- is this the only way of enabling them to reach the site?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  What exactly did you send? The site at http://metooresearchproject.wordpress.com/ is public, so anyone with an internet connection can access it, and there’s no need for anyone to have a WordPress.com account in order to do so.
