Sending information from one website to operate another.

    I am working with a web developer who’s having trouble getting our pages working based off an idea I have. Basically, I want to link two websites with different domain names – one for a parent, one for their child. The parent would log into their account, update/add some information and click “Update”. This info would then be used to update the kids account, namely, by adding text the parent typed in to a list on the kids site and a few numbers that would show up beneath that correspond to the text. Is this possible? He’s having a hard time with this.
