Separating premium plan features from cutom domain.

I’d like to be upgrade my wordpress basic plan to premium. I want the features that comes with the premium plan but I do not want to pay for a domain name. Is there a way to separate the premium plan features from the custom domain after the first year that it is free?

A custom domain is included free along with the price of an upgraded plan only for the first year. Subsequent years requires an additional payment to renew a domain as well as the renewal cost of the plan.

Just to add the the answer above, so if you don’t register a domain with the plan, you won’t need to pay extra for renewing the domain next year either. You can buy a plan and just keep using the free address – a custom domain is an option available to you in the premium plan, not a requirement.
