Seraphinite Accelerator issues
-
I have installed the plugin ‘Seraphinite Accelerator’ on my site to improve performance.
However, this plugin requires writable permission for ‘advanced-cache.php,’ which is located in ‘wp-content.’ I have tried to give permission using SSH but have not been able to do so.
Can you please help me run this plugin successfully? I have used the same plugin on another WordPress site that is hosted elsewhere, and it is working fine. So, what is the issue here?

You don’t need that kind of plugins on the wordpress.com platform as the wordpress.com platform has its own caching system – https://wordpress.com/support/plugins/incompatible-plugins/#caching-plugins

Those plugins are not giving me the results that ‘Seraphinite Accelerator’ gives me. What was the issue with ‘Seraphinite Accelerator’? It is also a WordPress plugin, right?

Do read that link again! All cache plugins are incompatible with the wordpress.com platform. WordPress.com has its own caching system so you don’t need any other cache plugin.
