Please note that your server resources are not configured properly so you might run into an issue during the demo import process. Please adjust your server configuration values.

  • Hi there,

I’ve looked up your site and sorry but we can’t help directly because we don’t host motherologist.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting. As a result we don’t have the ability to take a closer look at your site.

Instead your host (Bluehost) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com. The good news though is that help is available here at the open-source WordPress forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/

The folks over there in the open source WordPress forums will be more familiar with this error message (we don’t have that message on WordPress.com due to our custom service) and they are in the best place to help.

Hope this helps point you in the right direction!

Bluehost asked if wordpress can give them the domain IP, do you know how I would find this?

  • Bluehost is your hosting provider, not us, so Bluehost should already have that information.

You’re running the WordPress software from WordPress.org there, and that’s just software. The hosting provider is responsible for the IP address.

I recommend contacting them again about this.

They are your hosting provider, so they control your IP address and server resources. We do not, and neither does the WordPress software.

Do you have the DNS record? Bluehost are now requesting this instead. Apparently my wordpress.com files have been deleted from the file manager and need reloading.

  • Hi again,

To confirm once again, you do not have a site hosted with us directly, and we do not have any backup data that you can access.

I have looked up the NS history of motherologist.com and I can confirm that you have used several independent hosting providers (that we are not connected with) as you can see here:

If you are looking for previous site data you may wish to contact GoDaddy (your previous host) for their assistance, but we do not have any data here at WordPress.com that can help you in this case.

Hope this helps point you in the right direction!
