Hello!
I have been trying to get Ads on my website for a little over a month and they keep telling me that the website could not be found. After looking into it further I found that my websites Server IPS can not be found. I am curious why this may be and how I can solve this issue? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi ctl19951,
I’m not seeing any WordAds applications for attitudecreatesopportuny.com on this account. Can you confirm which ad network you are trying to use?
Thanks!

Well I was using the AdInserter Plug-In because I was attempting to use Google Adsense. I deactivated it however because I kept getting the notification that they could not view my website or that my website was down. This made me realize that unless you click a link, a standard domain search will not bring you to the website coming up with a notification that the server IPS can not be found. I was wondering why that is and how I can fix it? Then I will start focusing on Ads again.

@ctl19951 adsense won’t work with that site.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/standard domain search will not bring you to the website coming up with a notification that the server IPS can not be found.
Can you send a link to the page where you’re seeing that, please?

That advertising link was very helpful and actually answered a lot of questions that I had thank you.
They only thing that I have been able to find in this issue is domain mapping and site sharing? Two terms I hadn’t really seen before but I am wondering if these might fix the issue?
For some reason now when I type in the website domain it now brings me directly to the page where before it showed an issue with the IPS

Hi there,

The domain mapping requirement is only for sites hosted on WordPress.com – a site at a free *.wordpress.com address cannot enrol in WordAds. But your site at http://attitudecreatesopportuny.com/ is not hosted on our servers and using the open source WordPress.org software.
All you need to apply for WordAds on your site is the Jetpack plugin with an active connection to WordPress.com, which you already have, and the AdControl plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/radcontrol/
Please install that on your site, and then you should be able to apply for WordAds here:
Also note that while there’s a minimum traffic requirement for acceptance into WordAds, you can be instantly accepted into the program by upgrading to a Jetpack Premium or Professional plan:

I’m glad to hear this. This is most likely an issue on your hosting provider’s end, though, so please contact them for help should this start happening again.

Thank you everyone for writing back so quickly and for the useful information.
Just wanted to clarify and make sure I was understanding everything correctly.
-I can apply for WordAds once I download the required plugins and meet the minimum requirements because my site is not a free wordpress.com address? I was slightly confused by that because I do have the ability to access both WordPress and Bluehost sites with my website but I got the domain through Bluehost is this correct?
-Connected to the info above, I do not need to worry about Domain mapping or Site sharing correct?

Correct. Install and connect Jetpack on your site (you’ve done that already), and install the AdControl plugin, and you should be able to apply for WordAds for that site. It will still be pending approval based on the amount of traffic you receive, but you can also be approved immediately if you upgrade to a paid Jetpack plan.

Are you speaking of another site besides attitudecreatesopportuny.com? That site is hosted with Bluehost and connected here via Jetpack. If you have another Bluehost site, it’s not connected via Jetpack, or at least not to the same username account that’s connected to attitudecreatesopportuny.com.
If you’re speaking of a WordPress.com site, that also belongs to a different account than the one you’re currently logged into. attitudecreatesopportuny.com is the only site in this account.

Not for your site hosted on Bluehost’s servers, no.
