  Can I set up my website on wordpress.com before adding my domain so clients can still view my current page while I am constructing the new one?

  Yes, you can. You can start building your site here on a free .wordpress.com address and when you’re ready, you can transfer your domain and launch your site.

  I am going through the setup process. I select business for the type of site, then I select real estate for what does my business do, I enter my name and then I get stuck on step 4 as it is asking me for the domain name. I don’t want to add my domain until the site is set up. How do I get past step 4?

  You can add the custom domain name at any time later.
