last year I was exploring the option of using wordpress to set up a web site for my honey business. I played around with the free version and added some information not thinking the information would be saved. The business is ready to start and I want to purchase one of the options and use a domain name I have already registered, ‘obivalleyview.com.au’ and the email I used last year. It seems, because I used the email in the trial last year it won’t let me set up a paid account with that email and a different domain name as a username. ‘Obivalleybees’ is not what I decided to call the business, it is ‘obivalleyview’. I would rather not use a different email address.

The email address is the unique identifier on the wordpress.com platfom. So you can’t have 2 accounts using the same email address. But there is no need to create another account.
You can rename your site obivalleybees.wordpress.com to obivalleyview.wordpress.com, https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/, and upgrade it to a paid plan.
