I purchased managed hosting through godaddy but i am having trouble setting up my site.

Staff here can only assist with sites hosted on WordPress.com. Your best bet is going to be to contact GoDaddy’s support team for assistance with a WordPress site hosted on their platform.
You might also look for advice on the WordPress.org forums. They are based around the open-source WordPress software that you are using with GoDaddy.
