setting up a site with an existing domain transferred from previous registrar

  I have been given a series of random ‘site names’ how does this relate to the actual domain name – how does it relate to the charity which I represent ( church) – can we i.e the church which is a charity with its own bank account pay fro the subscription in a usual way – by a bank transfer

  I see that you’ve purchased the WordPress.com Premium plan and started a domain transfer for colonsaychurches.org. When this domain transfer is completed (you’ll be notified via email), please do the following:

  • Set its nameservers to WordPress.com. Here’s how.
  • Give it a few hours, as nameserver changes can take up to 72 hours to take effect.
  • Follow the steps here to set your domain as the primary address.

  When all of that is done, your WordPress.com site will start loading at colonsaychurches.org.

  To answer your other question about payment, we don’t support bank transfers, so you needed to use our supported payment methods to pay (which you’ve already done).
