Setting Up Access Section For All Customers to Showcase Their Products/Services

  Dear Forum Members,

  We are an accrediting body with about 100 accredited merchants selling various products and services. We would like to setup a WordPress blog to provide consumers with information on how to shop safely online and what to look out for when purchasing online.

  We also want to allow all our merchants to showcase their promotional products/services at our blog by providing each of our 100 merchants with a section with a username and password access to be able to upload their products/services when they run a promotion. Each section will link consumers back to the merchant’s portal. So there will be no online payment at our blog and it will not function as a shopping cart but will look like a shopping cart with each section showcasing merchants products/services. Can these features be implemented on WordPress?

  We would also like to have a consumer rating feature that allows consumers to rate all accredited merchants. Merchants with the highest ratings will then be given a more prominent spot at our blog. So there will probably be different merchants every week at the top rating spot in accordance with their weekly ratings. How is the best way to do this?
