    I hired someone to build me a website he used WordPress but he told me I need to log into WordPress to make changes to the website do I need to create an account with my domain or how do I go about making changes to my website

    The site I need help with is debtwealthfinancial.com. It is not hosted by WordPress.com or connected with Jetpack. This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

    Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.

    So, you’ll log in through https://debtwealthfinancial.com/wp-login.php and not us.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
