Setting up email

    Hi, I registered my domain through iPage and host it through wordpress. I have been trying to setup my email (email visible only to moderators and staff). This is what iPage said when I contacted their support about setting it up: Currently, nameservers of the doamin pointing to ‘WORDPRESS.COM’. In order to update MX records towards us you have to contact current registration service provider ‘WORDPRESS.COM’

    So I don’t know if I have to setup MX records through wordpress for my mail of have it point back to iPage. I’m trying to set it up in Mac OS X Mail

    Hi there,

    On WordPress.com we do not provide email hosting, but you can connect email hosting from another provider to your custom domain. Here are instructions for using email with your custom domain:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/
