Setting up FTP account

  My site is hosted through WordPress. Who do I need to contact to set up an FTP account? I’ve read that I need to contact my hosting provider, but since my domain was purchased through wordpress (www.dirtyforestpeople.com), who should I contact?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.com does not operate in the same way that a standard webhost does. Thus, we have no FTP access. All uploading is done through your WordPress.com site’s Dashboard.

  What are you trying to upload via FTP?

  I kind of suspected that from the other forum posts I’d read. My intention was to change my site’s favicon, so I was planning to upload that file.

  Allow me to direct you to this page:

  Which will allow you to make that change without any FTP needed!
