Setting up home page so first paragraph of blog only shows up
-
On my home page, in Editor template, the complete text of each blog is displayed. In the sample of Editor, provided by WordPress, the opening paragraph or lines and photo of each blog displays on the landing page. The opening paragraph is followed by a ‘continue reading’ prompt. How do I set up my home page so that it displays just a few lines of the blog display along with the ‘continue reading’ prompt?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You can truncate your blog entries so that only the first part of a posts is displayed on homepage using the more tag:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/
The above support page provides instructions on how to add the more tag to your posts so that only a few lines will be displayed followed by continue reading.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
