Setting up New WordPress Account for a friend

    A friend has asked me to help him set-up a new account and move his website over to WordPress. The ‘ownership’ of the account should be my friend, but I will also need access. Is there any specific steps I need to take when I upgrade my free account to a Personal Account for him?

    Hey there @jamstl01 , normally we’d recommend these steps, but it sounds like you want to stay on a site admin, correct?

    In a case like that, I’d recommend setting everything up under your account, then adding him to the site, then asking support to help transfer the upgrades and ownership while keeping you in the site as an administrator. Let us know if you need more help!
