Setting up online tutoring business

Hi,
I am looking to set up a website for my online tutoring business. I would like to add the ability for users to be able to enter their billing information and then later on for me to be able to charge them (i.e., when they complete a lesson). Could you please help me out with the following questions:
(1) What WordPress plan do I need for this?
(2) Are there plug-ins that would allow me to achieve this?
(3) Is this possible on WordPress without coding?
(4) Do I need any particular hosting for this?Thank you very much!

Hi there,
You’ll need plugins to do this, so you’ll either need a self-hosted WordPress site, or if you want to use WordPress.com, you’ll need the Business Plan.
In terms of plugins, WooCommerce with a membership extension and Sensei should be able to meet all your requirements:

For advice on other plugins to use it’s better to ask in the self-hosted forums where the users will have experience with a bigger variety of plugins. I’m only able to advise you on our own products, or on stuff I’ve actually used :)

If you want to look at self-hosting, we recommend Pressable or Bluehost as providers, but there are many hosting providers with a variety of plans and different price points out there. The .org forums can also give you some more info on that, but look online, read reviews, and do your homework before committing to one. We have some info to help you get started here:
