Hi. I’m attempting to set up Simple Ecommerce Shopping Cart plugin. The first instruction is to “Upload the folder simple-e-commerce-shopping-cart.zip to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory using the wordpress plugin menu.”
I have no idea how to do this.

Hi there,
Please note that it is not possible to install plugins on WordPress.com, for security reasons. Plugins can only be installed on self-hosted WordPress blogs. If you are wondering how WordPress.com differs from WordPress.org, this support article explains the distinction:
As for eCommerce that would be possible with the WordPress.com Business plan. You can integrate your site with Ecwid or Shopify stores.
If those options will not work for you it would be best to move to WordPress.org. Let me know if you want instructions to move there and I’d be happy to provide them to you!

Hi there!
Currently you only have WordPress.com Premium. You will need to upgrade to WordPress.com Business ($299/year).
Check this out and see if it’s right for you. If it is, you can do so by going to Store in your Dashboard.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
