setting up this wordpress site

    I am trying to connect this site to my Bluehost. I followed steps in bluehost & it should have created a wordpress site. It didnot. I’ve tried adding it And transferring it. I keep geeting error messages. So how do i get this site to my bluehost site or in bluehost, how do i get this site active please?

    Hi there,

    I think it will help if I explain that we are a separate provider from Bluehost. We both offer WordPress site hosting, but are not connected as companies. You can start a WordPress site with us if you wish (we would be happy to have you!) but if you have a hosting plan with Bluehost already, you may wish to contact their support department to get their help in setting up a site on your account with them.

    If you just have a domain with Bluehost (but do not pay them for hosting) then you can definitely connect your domain here to your WordPress.com account, and set your site to use the custom address instead of the “wordpress.com” address you are using on your site now. To do this you will need to upgrade to one of our plan and since you are just starting out you can consider our Personal Plan, which will allow you to set a custom site address, as well as turn off the ads we show on free sites so to help cover our costs.
