setting up web site

    I want to set up my web site in a way I can’t seem to manage right now. I want to be able to have different pages with different images (not random) and to be able to post on each page regarding each page subject for example- a french house I am renovating, life at cooper st in Australia and various other interest. Is this possible with the template I have chosen or do I need to change it.
    If it’s possible, could you let me know how to go about it please.

    Hi Claire,

    One way to show different posts on different pages is to set up Category Pages. That way, posts in a certain category will be shown on that category page. However, those pages will use the custom header you have set for your whole site, rather than specific header images for each category page.

    A different way to set this up is to use regular pages with featured images. If you set a Featured Image on a page that is greater than 1102 pixels wide and 350 pixels tall, that image will replace the custom header. Then, you can add blog posts from a certain category to that page by using the Display Posts Shortcode.
