Setting up wordpress

I have the free wordpress and have my domain name and hosting site through godaddy and when try and set up the domain through wordpress I clicked on already own domain and says I have to transfer the domain and have to upgrade. Is there any way that I can still use the domain and hosting through godaddy and set up wordpress

If you have a hosting plan through GoDaddy, you do not need to use WordPress.com. You can set up a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) via your cpanel. GoDaddy support should be able to help you with that.
If you choose to set up a site on WordPress.com, you do not need a hosting plan with GoDaddy. You can use your domain registered with GoDaddy with your WordPress.com site with the Domain Mapping upgrade:
