Setup before setting domain

    We have an existing domain that we would like to continue using however util we build a new site through wordpress we don’t want to redirect just yet. Is there a way to build our site first and then add/change the domain?

    All sites on WordPress.com get a free .wordpress.com subdomain when the site is created, which functions just like any regular subdomain, and your site is fully online and accessible at that subdomain.

    So you can experiment and build your site at that free address and even upgrade the site while still using the free address. Then you can switch the domain over to us only once you’re ready to launch your site.
