Shapely theme problem with Public view

    I’m using this theme and have designed my site beautifully. Now it comes to making it go public, Not only is there NO SETTING in dashboard to do this (believe me I’ve been through every one), in Privacy it is asking me to set up a policy page, all my posts are public but when I visit my URL the shapely default theme is displayed. A widget i deleted is at the bottom of that page sharing audio I do not want shared right now.
    Can anybody help, I want my website live that’s it – should be simple really, why is it not??? I remember there used to be an easy setting to select hidden or public and now it is gone.

    There is no theme on WordPress.com called Shapely, and the only site in your account, https://thisisisolda.wordpress.com/, is already public. What is the URL of the site you’re working on?

    If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead, or contact your hosting provider directly for help.
