Share buttons on the fictive theme
-
Hello! I chose the fictive theme, and one of the things I loved is that in the preview, it had all the social media button under the pic in the left column. I see them on my site half of the time but its showing three wordpress buttons and then an etsy button. I am wondering how to fix these. do I need to connect to all of these? or is this for others to share across all these sites? is there an instagram button that goes with this? when I look in my settings/sharing, it shows the buttons normally but I am not sure if that is the same as where the header buttons are. im pretty confused on how to fix this. thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Those social media buttons on the demo site are Social Links. (You can find more details about them on the Fictive support page.)
To change what links appear there, you can go to Appearance > Menus in your dashboard. You already have a custom menu set up called “mini moco” with the links that you’re seeing on your site. Under Menu Settings in the Theme Locations section, you can see that “Social Links” is checked. That means your custom “mini moco” menu will be used in the social links section on your site.
If you want different links to show up there, you can create a new custom menu on that page. Then, add custom links to the different social media sites you want to link to, and set that menu to show up in the “Social Links” theme location. Your theme will automatically add the button icons to match those social media links.
We also have more about creating new custom menus here: Custom Menus
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Ack, I’m sorry my explanation earlier didn’t help! If you liked the Fictive theme, I can do more to help you get those links in the left column working the way you want them.
But I see you have your blog set up with the Spun theme now — it looks really nice! Just let me know if I can do anything more to help. :)
