Sharp practice

Hi, I notice that when I switched to my local currency (euro) you immediately charged me 2 dollars more (18 dollars suddenly , and without warning became the equivalent of more than 20 dollars, including the registration going up from 3 dollars to 4 euros.) If I could take back the current transaction I would. I will certainly never give you any more business, and will be switching to an honest hosting company next year. I’ll be telling anyone who’ll listen about what underhand practices wordpress uses to screw money out of their customers.

    Cheers

    Hi Jamie,

I see that your latest domain renewal was €15.00 (as opposed to $18.00). Prices in different currencies may vary depending on things like changing conversion rates and local taxes (such as VAT), so they may not be exactly equal.

I’m sorry you were surprised by the price difference when switching currencies, and I’ve added some credits to your account that you can use for future purchases. If you’d prefer, I can cancel your domain renewal for a full refund (although that would also cancel your domain registration).

Please let me know if I can do anything more.
