‘Shift-click to edit this widget’

  I have a WordPress website that my developer did not do a good job on. I am trying to edit the verbiage in the header home page. Shift-click does not work to edit the widget as instructed. Is there any other way to accomplish such a task?

  Hi – What is the site URL? We need that information to take a closer look. I do suspect that the site might be set up on the open source WordPress installation rather than our managed hosting at WordPress.com.

  Thanks. That site is hosted by GoDaddy, not WordPress.com.
