Short e-mail to my blog followers

When the followers of my blog receive an e-mail informing them of a new post, they get the entire text of the post in this e-mail. I would prefer that their e-mail only contains a short intro of the new post, so that they have to visit my blog to read the entire new post. How can I do this?

You will want to change your feed setting from “For each article show: full text” to show: summary” as described here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/reading-settings/
