Short extract of my new posts in the email notifications sent to my followers

  Hello,

  I have a few followers on my WordPress blog. They get notified by email whenever I publish a new post on my blog. However, it is the full text that they receive. Instead, I would like them to receive a short extract of my post and have the option to click on a link in the email to be redirected to my blog for reading the full article. Is this possible?

  Howdy,

  If you’d like your emails to contain summaries of your posts instead, please select “Summary” under the “For each article in a feed” option. You can find this option at Settings -> Reading.

  This setting will be used for both your subscription emails and feeds.
