Should I update new versions of WordPress and if so how?

  I regularly read about the need to install a new version of WordPress to be more secure. I have never received a warning from WordPress to update and haven’t got a clue which version I’m using. Can’t find anything on it. So, what is your advice on updating versions? And how do I subscribe?

  You are not able to do that here. That is done sitewide by staff.

  You must have been reading something about self-hosted sites.
