Show progress graph on home page

  I have a wordpress.com hosted site and want to show progress against a personal target on my home page (pregress against annual target for miles walked etc). I know that there are plugins for wordpress.org sites, but is it possible to do something like this on a wordpress.com site ?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com doesn’t have a built-in feature to show a progress graph like that. However, you could create something like that for yourself:

  For example, you could create a Text Widget with the information about your goal and your progress. Then, you could update that widget each time you make more progress.

  Another option is to create a graph as an image and put it in an Image Widget. Then, you can update that widget with a new image each time you make progress toward your goal.

  If there’s a particular plugin for WordPress.org sites that you like, please send me a link to more details about it — I can also pass that along to our developers as a suggestion to add as a future feature here. :)

  That’s great, thanks for tips and help Rachel. I guess I would need to save a copy of any graph as e.g. a jpg before I could display it in an image widget ?

  Yep, the graph would need to be saved as a jpg or one of the other accepted image file types on WordPress.com. Just let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
