Showing exerpts in Writr theme

  Hello.
  I would like my homepage to show excerpts only (instead of full article) with a ‘show more’ or ‘continue reading’ button. I am using the Writr theme and I have no idea of tampering files, php or any other kind of evil stuff that you guys do and change things.
  So if someone could help me with my little problem? Thank you!

  You can create a excerpt by adding a More Tag to the post:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/

  Anything below the tag will only be visible if someone clicks through to the full post.

  I hope that does what you are looking for.
