  Hello, I would like to change the title ‘Categories’ and be able instead of ‘Home’ and ‘Uncatagorized’ to put links to fellow author’s websites and blogs.
  I can’t find how to do this. Can you help please?

  I would like to change the title ‘Categories’

  The title of any WordPress.com widget can be changed. See the Adding and Configuring Widgets section of the Widgets support page for instructions.

  put links to fellow author’s websites and blogs

  You can’t do that with the Categories widget. Better would be the Links widget. See the Links Menu (Blogroll) and Links Widget support pages.

  Thank you very much. There’s so much more to the add-ons than meets the eye. It’s getting a handle on the functions that is a bit mystifying at first.
