  i’m following the steps to add a pic to my sidebar and all it does when I add it is show the link….no pic…any pointers?

  Where are you hosting the image? Some places don’t allow hotlinking. Please give us the URL of the picture, and please change the link on your username to show your WordPress.com blog, not your Myspace page, because the Myspace one isn’t relevant here. We can help you faster if we can see your blog.
