Sidebar with widgets disappeared off my WordPress blog
-
My sidebar is suddenly gone off my site: http://www.stilettocity.com. I checked my widgets in the admin and they are showing as loaded correctly and I haven’t changed them. I’m using the Kubrick theme.
Widgets sidebar included:
Search
Categories
Pages
Archives
RSSHelp!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I took a look at your site (in Chrome), and your widgets appeared for me: http://cl.ly/image/0m1i2g2E3i0t
Are you still having trouble with this? If so, please let me know and I’ll be happy to look into it for you!

Thanks for getting back to me – found I had broken the code in one post when I removed a Pinterest image (seems they are no longer allowing embedding, just FYI). Didn’t realize bad code in a post can break the sidebar template. Lesson learned. Thanks!

Yep, a piece of stray or broken code in a post can cause problems with your blog’s layout. Actually, if your sidebar disappears, that’s a common sign of broken code in a post! :)
I just checked the Pinterest embedding, and it worked for me. You should be able to embed content from Pinterest using this guide: Embed from Pinterest
