  It appears that WordPress has allowed me to create a new account with the email account attached to my original account. I cannot now sign into my account with my wesbite attached! Any ideas?!

  You can’t have two different accounts at WordPress.com both using the same email address. Perhaps your other site is hosted elsewhere and using the WordPress.org software.
