Sign in issue

Hi! This is ANITA NARANG here. I recently have an issue with my login on my desktop running windows 10. At the time of login, it displayed an error message and when I proceed with the option of ‘forgot your password’ it opens the browser and logins but the app shows the error again. Please help me to fix the issue. I have already gone for app re-installation.

Could you let us know some more details about what happens? I understand that you’re trying to log in to your site using the Windows Desktop App. What site are you trying to access? What is the exact error message you see?

The issue is lying unresolved till now.Today once again I repeated the sign in process,reinstallation of the app., change of password but nothing worked.At the time of login process it displaysthe error message’Incorrect username or password’.
And the fixes you have suggested I’ll try tomorrow as my quota of daily working hours is exhausted.
Hope you’ll respond patiently and positively.

To clarify, are you able to log in using your browser (instead of the app) by going here? https://wordpress.com/log-in/
I.e. is the issue only with logging in via the App? Or is the issue one you encounter in either the app or in your browser?

I have issue in signing in desktop app. Only otherwise I have no other issue whether this is login via browser or a link sent by you via email.
Please see to it urgently.
