sign up error

  Hello,

  I wanted to register goametric.wordpress.com, tried it and it was free, so a page came in which ask me if i want to register it. So i clicked yes, and started the registration, when i reached the user name page, the system said that ‘goametric’ is not available while i typed the password. I did not know what is the problem since ‘goametric’ was free, but i choosed another user name because i could not go forward, and now my original site ‘goametric.wordpress.com’ is nowhere, i can not use it. Some error happened during the sign up. Please, could you correct it, i would like to use the user name ‘goametric’ and the address ‘goametric.wordpress.com’

  Hi there,

  goametric.wordpress.com is owned by beachsofa. Could you have created the site whilst logged into another account?

  You can change your username using these instructions:

  Change Your Username

  Please be aware that you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use.

  Thanks a lot for your help! Yes you are right, i did not noticed that i was logged in with an other project. So if i transfer the blog to the user “goametricblog” can i also change my user name (not just the display name) to “goametric” to match the blog address?
