Simple site theme

    At present I want a very simple site with a home page that will hold my photo, a menu to other content and a brief message. I do not want a blog on the home page, yet most of the themes I saw had one. What can I do?

    Any WordPress.com theme may display either the posts page or a static page on the front page. See the Set a Static “Home” Page (Front Page) support page.

    At present I want a very simple site with a home page that will hold my photo, a menu to other content and a brief message.

    A static page on any theme may contain images and text. See the Add Media support page. If a theme doesn’t display a default menu that suits your requirements, you may replace it with a custom menu. See the Custom Menus support page.
