Single line indent–how do you do it?

How do you indent a single line differently from the rest of a paragraph? (Such as when you are trying to write a poem in your blog, for effect.)

One of the best ways to indent lines, for example when writing poetry, is to create preformatted text. We have a guide for that here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/advanced-html/#preformatted-text
That will ensure that the formatting remains even if you edit the post or switch themes. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
